Quick Fire #1

Define Yourself in a Picture (9:15 – 10:15)

Please take the next hour to scavenge the area in search of something to photograph.  This photograph should represent who you are.  It is a photograph of something that defines parts of you or all of you.  We will use these photographs to more formally introduce you to the group.

When you return from your excursion at 10:05 am, please upload your photo to your device and name it Define Lastname.extension (ex. Define Sweeney.jpg )

You will then upload this to the shared Picasa web album.  You should have received an e-mail invite to this web album while you were on your hunt for the perfect photo.  In this e-mail, click “View Album”.  If you are not familiar with this process to upload photos, please refer to this resource provided by Google, who owns Picasa, https://support.google.com/picasa/answer/157130

If you are finished with the above activity and  interested in learning more about the use of or set up with Picasa shared web albums, you can take a look at this resource.  It is important that you follow these steps while in Picasa http://picasaweb.google.com.  If you are a Google+ user, it may try to send you to the web albums in Google+.  There should be a yellow box in the center  at the top with a message about going to Picasa instead that allows you to follow these instructions.  Create a collaborative photo album in Picasahttps://support.google.com/picasa/answer/153791?hl=en
